The Inca
The Inca Empire, or Inka Empire, was the largest empire in pre-columbian America before being conquered in 1533. This civilization rose from the highlands of Peru sometime in the early 13th century. This civilization was comprised of many cultures, some originating around 800 B.C.E. These include the Chavin, Chimu, and Mochica among others.

The Olmec
Known for their so called "colossal heads", the Olmec, who settled in the lowlands of South-Central Mexico, were the first major civilization in Central America. Thriving from 1500 - 400 B.C.E., the Olmec laid the foundation for many cultural traditions of the Maya and Aztec, including blood-letting rituals and ballgames.

The Maya were a Mesoamerican civilization, noted for the only known fully developed written language of the pre-Columbian Americas. The civilization is also known for its art, architecture, and mathematical and astronomical systems. As of 2010, there is evidence that dates the first Mayan civilizations back to the 1800 B.C.E.

The Aztec
The term "Aztec" refers to several Nahuatl speaking peoples of central Mexico in the postclassic period of Mesoamerican chronology, an ethnic group. However, the Aztec Empire itself, originated in 1427. It began as an alliance between Tenochtitlan, Texcoco and Tlacopan, three city-states that ended the domination of the Basin of Mexico by the Tepanec state of Azcapotzalco. They were conquered by the Spanish in 1521.
